Why not plan a baby shower during Easter Season? All of the festive decor is already out! What a bonus! That's what I did! I planned Some bunny is on the way baby shower theme. Especially if you don't have anyone shouting a baby shower for you it's nice and easy way to plan it yourself!
Easter holiday screams yellow, green, pink, purple and blue which is quiet a gender neutral color pallet when every single color is mixed with balance. I knew I was expecting a boy so the main focus of my event was baby blue.
Here's a shot of "Blue paradise" picturing Blue Bunny, Cake Pops decorated with daisies, cup cakes and chocolate bunnies.
RxBut before we get too far in the dessert table inspirations, just want to let you know that this particular event, I was celebrating with my co-workers. The best way for me to send the invitation was through Facebook. First reason is I didn't know everyone's physical address. Second reason I didn't want to give out an invitation in front of other workmates, and put both parties in the awkward situations (if you know what I mean). So I went with Digital Invitation Option.
Here's Some bunny is on the way Invitation that I used. Nice and easy to edit, download and then send of in messenger.
Here's a whole overlook of my Easter desert table.
How to make a big table look fuller?
I know once you start the whole process of prepping and baking you already feel like quitting, but at the end of the day it is worth it.
My mum baked lemon curd cupcakes. Yummy! Blue checkered paper cupcake holders can be found here. Cake pops were vanilla flavoured and covered in blue chocolate. Bunny shaped sweets had prunes and walnut stuffing. Smaller white chocolate candies in the center, distributed evenly on the plate.
Some Easter themed tableware held a few mirangues (Nice easy dessert table filler). To finish off filling up the table we have put some baby boy cone hats, left over from my Gender Reveal. That filled up the chunk of empty space.
Lastly there were marshmallows and store bought candy placed in Easter themed bowls.
Don't forget to create heights, there's so much cute cake stands and cupcake plynths out there!
I had two different types of cupcake toppers, to create a bit of interest to the table.
Moving on to Some bunny is on the way Favors Table.
We gave out cookies as our favors and placed bottles on there too. It was a hot summers day plus favors table was right out where the main party area was.
I hope you enjoyed this post and got inspired. Let me know in the comments below what Easter Baby Shower theme would you go for? What color scheme would you use?
